longoverdue

so the news is this. we spent all summer relaxing and doing anything but recording and playing shows. i bought a piano from a lady and carried it on my back into the sunset...we prayed that obama would save us...our cat made friends with the neghborhood skunk...we watched the tide pools fill with purple spikes and tiny golden crabs... but in fall we emerged still pale but warmer and more relaxed. we have spent the last couple of months writing all new songs, 5 to be exact and we are pretty excited about them. for those of you that came out to our shows in november you might have also noticed that little sis Carrie has also emerged, holding the spectre of Big Death, one of the most rocking and whole heartedly inspiring bands of aught 8.
foot foot has plans for recording and touring come spring when the weather hopefully does not get much warmer then this january heat wave, but if you just cant wait until then you should come join us at one of our shows in late january...
love,
robin and josh

Dearest,

...back from the desert and oh it is sweet out there. cactus' watching over, burro's watching out. thank you to all the lovely people who came out and watched us play our new songs these last couple of months, and all of the nice emails about "Trumpet"...it is unbelievable how righteous everyone is!!! we are going to be laying low the next couple of weeks, but we will resume our merry making in May when we go on tour with Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, hitting the southwest and the west coast. you can find Trumpet on i tunes now, and i think Snaggle and Buck is going to be up there soon as well, so polish those ipods dammmit!
our house is in complete shambles from being gone all the time and our garden is wilting, so i will water, and you can wait in the sunniest of doorways darling,
sincerely,
r.

living life to the ultra

hey beauties,
you might notice that your surroundings are different, our lovely friend john schroeder has built our website all anew and we are forever grateful and relieved.

we have been storing up our energy for the upcoming hurricane of activity. our new album "Trumpet" shows its face this February 25th, and we will be playing all over in support of said album. you can check the shows portion of this wonderland, or you can peruse un myspace (www.myspace.com/footfootmusic) if you are wanting to see us face to face.

other then playing shows we have been recording some very sparse renditions of some new songs and wishing we knew how to prune roses as they are getting a bit leggy.
